Africa Logistics Summit to be held in Abuja

ABUJA, Nigeria, will be the venue of the annual African Logistics Summit at the Nigerian capital's International Conference Centre March 10 - 12, 2011.
The conference theme will be Africa's potential for business growth and partnership and will occur just after a pre-annual meeting of the African Cargo and Logistics Alliance (ACLA) on March 9.

ACLA president and summit spokesman Christian Ukata said holding the ACLA meeting as part of the African Logistics Summit offered a unique opportunity for a one-stop-logistics business shop in Africa.

"The networking events and guest speaker presentations during these events provide a unique opportunity to learn more about important progress and new business opportunities under the one roof with key industry and government stakeholders," Mr Ukata said.

"Africa is a continent of dynamic change and well positioned to build on the success of hosting the World Cup and to support economic partnerships as international trade recovers from the global financial crisis."

Nigerian Transport Minister Alhaji Suleiman Yusuf will be among those attending.

Early bird registration before October 31 is available online at www.africanlogisticssummit.com
