EFCC re-arrests Dimeji Bankole


The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja on Monday granted bail to Dimeji Bankole, former Speaker of the House of Representatives after eight nights in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) but some agents of the Commission immediately re-arrested Mr. Bankole and he will be arraigned on fresh charges today with his former deputy, Usman Nafada.

Dimeji Bankole to appear in court today


Nigeria Newspapers - The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is set to arraign the former speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole, before Justice Donatus Okorowa of the Federal High Court 7 in Abuja today. This is coming as the anti-corruption body yesterday filed formal charges against him.
