Buhari rejects results in 22 States

The Presidential Candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari of the Congress for Progressive Change, CPC, yesterday, called for the cancellation of results of the election saying that computers used in compiling the votes were programmed to rig the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, back to power.

Jonathan Goodluck votes in Bayelsa

President Goodluck Jonathan and his wife, Patience arrived his polling unit -unit 39 of Ward 13 in Otuabala - at about 8:40 am and concluded his accreditation at 8:45am. Mr Jonathan had flown into Port Harcourt yesterday and proceeded from there to his home town, Otoueke in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

INEC Latest News - The Independent National Electoral Commission has cancelled the result of the senatorial election in Anambra Central Senatorial District.

It said a rerun would be fixed for a date to be announced soon.

Explosion Disrupts Election in Suleja
After yesterday's bombing in the INEC office in Suleja in which 12 people were killed, 27 people were injured; the electoral commission in Niger State has indefinitely suspended the National Assembly election in Suleja.
