Explosion Disrupts Election in Suleja

After yesterday's bombing in the INEC office in Suleja in which 12 people were killed, 27 people were injured; the electoral commission in Niger State has indefinitely suspended the National Assembly election in Suleja.

The spokesperson for the commission in the state, Yahaya Abara, said the election will however hold in other parts of the state.

"We sympathise with the families of the deceased and pray that Allah will soon reveal the perpetrators to justice". Mr Abara said.
